Dynamic DNS Support
In order to take advantage of dynamic DNS support through netstep DNS, you will need to download and install one of the following clients. These programs run in the background on your computer and periodically contact our server, reporting the current IP address of your computer, and which domain name(s) you want to update.
Each client program functions slightly differently, so we've included helpful information where we can about configuring the program for our services. However, since we are not the author of these programs, we can not offer any support on their use, beyond configuring them to talk to our servers. We make no representations or claims with respect to either the products or any information about the programs. If you choose to use one of the "shareware" or "trialware" products, you are responsible for paying any fees to the publisher/vendor directly. Your netstep DNS fees do not include publisher/vendor fees for the software. Any questions, complaints, or claims regarding the programs must be directed to the appropriate publisher/vendor.
If you are already using a dynamic DNS client that isn't listed here, and would like us to consider adding it to our list of supported clients, then contact us and we will see if it is technically possible to support it.
